FVTU Habitat Improvement Day with CWTU
September 18th, 2021
The next habitat restoration workday with Central WI Trout Unlimited (CWTU) will be Saturday, September 18th from 7:45 a.m. to 12 noon. We will be on the West Branch of the White River (WBWR), the same location as in May, June and July, about 2 miles west of Wautoma on Hwy Y. This will be our last workday of the 2021 season.
We will continue our assistance to the DNR in a variety of stream and habitat restoration activities to include brushing and fishability/floatability access in the Younglove project area near the Wautoma airport. Similar to past months, we will be breaking up into smaller work groups and traveling to nearby areas along the WBWR. As always, you do not have to perform strenuous labor to participate. All are welcome – there’s something for everyone. A complimentary lunch will be served afterwards. A porta-potty will be on site.
7:45am Breakfast (Coffee, Juice, Donuts, Pastries, etc.)
8:00am Assemble into work teams
