The American Grannom is an important hatch across Wisconsin. This early spring hatch is one of the first major hatches of the season. Tom Lager will give us insight to understand this bug so we can properly target the fish feeding on this little critter.
Tom Lager is a passionate fly fisher who I would call a “bug guy”. His knowledge of aquatic insects is rarely surpassed. Tom donates hundreds of hours to Trout Unlimited every year through his chapter Fox Valley TU, the Wisconsin State Council, and TUCARES.
Attend this meeting to gain knowledge of Brachycentrus Americana, learn the flies that mimic different life stages of this bug, how to present those flies, and have chance to win a wooden box filled with grannom flies with a raffle (all proceeds go to FVTU)
Like always we log in at 6pm for a social hour before the program. The link is below: |
