BUILD YOUR OWN BAMBOO ROD!
Wisconsin bamboo rod builder, Scott Grady, is offering a unique experience to one lucky winner of a “Build Your Own Bamboo Rod” Raffle. Win this prize and you will work with Scott at his workshop in the Fox Valley and create your very own bamboo rod…..
The process will start in the Spring, around mid to late April, where you will meet with Scott to cast some different tapers and work out the details of the rod you want to build. The rod design will be in the 3wt to 8wt range with a length of 6′ – 9′ depending on the rod weight and selected taper. Rod building will start with a weekend kickoff (Fri evening, Saturday, and Sunday) to get the process started and you will agree on the remaining schedule to build and finish your rod on whatever timetable you wish.
We will sell no more than 100 tickets at a cost of $25 per ticket and the winning ticket will be drawn at the end of Cabin Fever Day so you must be present to win.
This is sure to be a unique experience and you will own a rod that you built yourself from scratch
