CABIN FEVER DAY IS DIFFERENT THIS YEAR, BUT OUR MISSION REMAINS THE SAME!

Due to COVID-19 Fox Valley TU has made the difficult decision to cancel our traditional Cabin Fever Day and move to a virtual fundraiser.  Over the last several years Cabin Fever Day has grown in popularity and has afforded our chapter the ability to increase our financial support of habitat work in the Central Sands region of Wisconsin year over year.  TU’s mission is to conserve and protect our coldwater fisheries and their watersheds – and our focus is our homewaters in central Wisconsin.  We work with other Wisconsin chapters to pool our resources (financial and human) and partner with the Wild Rose DNR crew to restore streams and provide clean water and habitat for the natural reproduction of trout.  Whether you spin, bait or fly fish you are welcome to join us on the streams or support our fundraising efforts.

Many TU chapters are struggling to find ways to raise funds to continue our work.  Cabin Fever Day is the only fundraising event that Fox Valley uses to raise money for habitat work.  While we would love to hold our silent auctions, bucket raffles, guest speakers, and vendor booths – unfortunately this year we have to do something else.  However, we still have great auction items and are still raffling a Scott Grady bamboo fly rod package and other prizes in our sweepstakes – we are just doing it all online.

Please browse our offerings, make a bid, buy some tickets or even just make a donation!  Let’s rally together and not let COVID-19 take away our ability to fund ongoing conservation work.

Thanks you for participating…..!!!!!
